A Woodbridge man was arrested Sept. 1 in Sterling and charged with driving while intoxicated and a weapons violation, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
A deputy conducted a traffic stop in the early-morning hours after witnessing a vehicle traveling well below the posted speed limit, swerving and unable to maintain lane control.
Authorities say the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and that he was in possession of a firearm.
Christopher R. Gordon, 45, of Woodbridge, was charged with DWI, carrying a concealed handgun while under the influence of alcohol and refusal to provide a breath test.
Gordon was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.
