Brandon Tyler Jean

Brandon Tyler Jean passed away suddenly on September 4, 2021 at the young age of 31.

His gentle smile, kindness to others, and his love for family and friends brought joy to all who knew him. He loved cars and kept all his cars immaculate. He loved to travel and he loved to draw. He also loved rap music, dancing, designer clothes, action movies, his job as an accountant at SFMC, and he loved his son Xavier more than anything.

He is survived by Xavier Miles (Son); Cheri Jean (Mother); Mark Jean (Father); Stuart Fearson (Uncle), Nancy Fearson (Aunt); Jennifer Troncone (Aunt); Linda Fortenberry (Mammaw); Jim Fortenberry (Granddaddy); Sandy Miles (Aunt); Randy Miles (Uncle); Shirley Mott (Great Aunt); Lynn and Paul Schmitz (Godparents); Brad Shreve (Uncle); and Phyllis Jean (Grandmother).

He also leaves behind Yvette Miles, Kiara Lee, Lilly Miles, Zayden Chambers, Gloria Miles (Nanny); Jackie Bouknight (Auntie); David Bouknight (Uncle); James Miller, Jr. (Uncle); James Miles (Great Uncle); Maxine Miles (Great Aunt); Kevin Miles (Uncle); and Jennifer Miles (Aunt).

He also leaves behind his cousins, Lucas, Trevor, Laken, Jesse, Matt, Jon Angel, April, Angie, Jeni, Carla, Trey, Mandy, Robbie, Joey, Brittany, and Garrett.

He was very close to his cousin Clara Fortenberry and his dear friend Lenora Linnen.

He was preceded in death by Kiera Miles, Ann Via (Maternal Grandmother); Norman Fearson (Maternal Grandfather) and Floyd Jean (Paternal Grandfather). May he find peace with them in Heaven.

He will be missed by all.

A graveside service was conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021 at the Miles Family Cemetery 9597 James River Road, Shipman, Virginia 22971. Reverend Herbert Woodson, Jr. officiated.

Arrangements were under the direction of Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel, Lovingston, VA (434-263-4097).
