Jacqueline Ann Boink

Jacqueline passed away peacefully on 16 May 2021. Born 15 December 1942 in London, England, she is survived by husband Louis Boink III, son Louis Boink IV, and daughter Holly Ameen. Jackie was also known as the very proud “Nana” to her four grandchildren: Louis Boink V, Nathan Boink, Colin Ameen and Jake Ameen.

An accomplished equestrian, Jackie loved riding with her young friends in England then later in the United States as a member of the hunt field in both Virginia Beach and Loudoun County. In later years, Jackie could be found on the many horse trails near her North Fork home and in competitive trail rides held in Northern Virginia. Over the years she also became a recognized peacock breeder whose advice and assistance were greatly appreciated by novice peacock owners. Without question she was the master of animal care, welfare, and advocacy in supporting the many local animal humane societies.

Jackie, her husband and two children formed a well-traveled military family that formed lasting friendships in both United States and abroad. She was loved by all. Those who were lucky enough to know her well often described her as witty, strong, kind, vibrant, sometimes mischievous and always generous. Jackie will be sorely missed by family and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted beginning 11:00 am on Friday 28 May at Hall Funeral Home, 140 South Nursery Avenue, Purcellville, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Middleburg Humane Society in her honor.
