Lucinda  Williams

Lucinda Williams, lifelong resident of Aldie, VA, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Saturday, July 4, 2020.

She was born March 7, 1925, in Loudoun County, VA, to the late Charles and Lucinda Stewart. Lucinda was the 10th of 12 children. She was preceded in death by her 11 siblings; husband, James L. Williams “Cheese”; infant son, Harry Lee; grandson, George Swann; three sons-in-law; and one daughter-in-law.

She is survived by her children, M. Alice Swann (Reston, VA), Betty M. Shellman (Reston, VA), L. Acie Williams (Aldie, VA), Phyllis S. Bunch (Mitchelleville, MD), and Sonya B. Clay (James Sr.) (Aldie, VA); 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Memorial Park, Aldie, VA.
