Rhonda Lyons

Rhonda Lyons of Ashburn, VA formerly of Chicago, Il, Age 63 departed this life on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Inova Loudoun Hospital, Leesburg, VA. Rhonda was born May 21, 1957 in Chicago, IL to Myrna Alice and Ronald Walker.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Myrna Alice Cotton, Ronald Walker and Willie Cotton; her brother, Myron D. Walker; and her son, Eugene (Trey) Lyons III. 

Rhonda leaves to cherish her memory; her loving husband, Eugene; her three daughters, Kelli of Ashburn, VA, Amber (Haywood) of Evanston, IL and Natasha of Chicago Heights, IL; her mother-in-law, Catherine Lyons; one sister, Belinda Coffey of Steger, IL; three brothers, Dwight (Melinda) Walker and Stephen Walker of Chicago, IL and Sean Cotton of South Bend, IN; two brothers-in-law, Anthony Lyons of Chicago, IL and Gregory Lyons of West Palm Beach, FL; four god-children, Candace, Amber, Tyler and Jarrett; ten grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews that adored their Aunt Rahri, several honorary sisters and friends, and two very special friends, Jerane Ransom and Leslie Radcliffe.

Private visitation and viewing was held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from

12:00 until time of service 12:30 pm at Christian Fellowship Church, 44505 Atwater Drive, Ashburn, VA. 

Private interment was held at the Ketoctin Cemetery, 16595 Ketoctin Church Road, Purcellville, VA 20132.
