Rolland “Rollie” Earle Trask of Blaine, Tennessee formerly a long-time resident of Sterling, Virginia passed away peacefully surrounded by family November 17, 2021, at home. Rolland was born in Redwood Falls, Minnesota on January 29, 1929, to Earle Jeremiah Trask and Frances Elvira Batterson Trask.

Rolland is survived by his wife of 69 years, Marjorie Trask, his sister Elaine Cloutier of Minneapolis, MN, four children, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous step grandchildren. Survivors are his children James (Shelley), Timothy (Dena), Gregory (Pam) and Bruce (Barbara). Grandchildren are Christopher Trask, Hope Pursell, Dana Trask, Derick Trask, Jennifer Coffman, Tyler Trask, Andria Witt, Melinda Phillips, Caitlin Seeley and Jesse Trask.

Rolland was an avid sports fan having been a gymnast, boxer and football player. He was a dedicated coach of midget football for 25 years in Loudoun County, Virginia. His greatest love was spending time with his family, friends and gardening.

There will be a private celebration of Rolland’s life at his home on April 16, 2022.
