The Friends of Ball’s Bluff (FoBB) is an all-volunteer organization that supports NOVA Regional Parks and Ball’s Bluff Battlefield. Our mission is preservation, presentation and partnership. Volunteers maintain the battlefield trails throughout the year. Weekend tours of the park are conducted from April to November, and last year over 2,100 people participated.

FoBB also provides outreach to schools and local historical organizations. On Feb. 23, FoBB will be hosting its annual remembrance dinner at the Woodlands at Algonkian Park. This event is open to the public and is the only yearly fundraiser for the FoBB. Dennis Frye will be the guest speaker. Frye recently served as chief historian at Harper’s Ferry National Park. Additional information and registration are available on the NOVA Regional Parks-Ball’s Bluff website via
