Park View High School Class of 1984 graduate Tom Korbini joins Ed Bridge, Lee Cook and Laura Harkins Kelly to make up the 35th class to be inducted into the Shepherd University Athletic Hall of Fame.

Korbini was a four-year player on Shepherd's football team, starting all 41 games during that span. He earned all-conference honors three times and was an NAIA honorable mention All-American as a senior.

A member of the Rams' 1986 team that won the WVIAC title and earned an NAIA Playoff appearance, Korbini recorded 216 tackles (110 solo) and registered 26 sacks during his college career.

Korbini, a football and wrestling standout in high school, was part of Park View's inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame class in 2010.

Bridge, who played both soccer and basketball at Shepherd from 1991 through 1994, is a resident of Leesburg. He finished his soccer career as Shepherd's all-time leader in saves (504). Bridge attended high school in Delaware.

Shepherd's annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled for April of 2021, with an exact date to be determined.
