Landon Hawes 1000 pts

Landon Hawes connected on this jumper in a Jan. 6 game against Tuscarora to reach the 1,000 career points milestone.

Potomac Falls senior Landon Hawes netted the 1,000th point of his varsity career Monday night during a 73-56 victory over Tuscarora. Hawes scored 23 points in the win.

Hawes is averaging 22.5 points, 7 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game this season. He currently holds three NCAA Division II scholarship offers.

Landon's father, Jeff Hawes is the Panthers' head coach. Jeff Hawes also reached a milestone earlier this season, earning his 400th coaching win.

Potomac Falls (8-3) hosts Woodgrove in a Potomac District game Friday.
