The Loudoun Valley Vikings closed the regular season on a strong note Oct. 30, sweeping the host Tuscarora Huskies in a Dulles District volleyball match in Leesburg.

Loudoun Valley prevailed in three sets, 25-15, 25-21 and 25-18, to earn its sixth win in its last eight matches.

The Vikings' lone losses during that stretch came against the district's top two teams -- Loudoun County and Heritage.

Tuscarora won three consecutive matches leading up to the match against Loudoun Valley.

Both teams will play in the Dulles District tournament this week.
