D.C. United held a ceremony on May 2 to announce the Major League Soccer club and Inova have expanded their partnership to include naming rights of the club's training facility and performance center in Leesburg, which opened in 2021.
The Inova Performance Complex is a 30-acre facility featuring four full-size outdoor practice fields, and a training center equipped with a weight room and recovery facilities for the club’s performance and medical staff.
Inova Sports Medicine joined forces with D.C. United as the club's official sports medicine partner in March. Inova is a leading nonprofit healthcare provider in Northern Virginia.
"We are excited to further strengthen our relationship with Inova and have them become the naming rights holder for our training facility in Loudoun County," D.C. United President of Business Operations Danita Johnson said. "As our official sports medicine partner, our relationship with Inova will continue to help the team perform both on and off the field."
The state-of-the-art facility is the training home for D.C. United and the D.C. United Youth Academy, along with Loudoun United F.C. of the USL Championship and the Washington Spirit of the National Women's Soccer League.
