The 13 players that make up the Southeast Region champion Loudoun South Little League team will have to wait an extra day to experience playing in the Little League Baseball World Series.

Loudoun South's opening game against Barrington Little League (Rhode Island) scheduled for Thursday afternoon in Williamsport, Pennsylvania was postponed due to weather. The game is now scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday and will be televised on ESPN.

Loudoun South will serve as the home team for the game against the New England Region champions, set for Howard J. Lamade Stadium.
