LVHS region TF champs

The Loudoun Valley Vikings swept top team honors at the Region 4C track and field meet. The Vikings won the boys' and girls' team titles.

Briar Woods (5C boys), Independence (3B boys), Loudoun Valley (4C boys, 4C girls) and Stone Bridge (5C girls) each won team championships at their respective regional track and field meet.

Varsity teams from Loudoun County Public Schools competed in one of four regional meets: Region 6B (John Champe), Region 5C (Briar Woods, Freedom, Potomac Falls, Riverside, Rock Ridge, Stone Bridge and Woodgrove), Region 4C (Broad Run, Dominion, Heritage, Loudoun County, Loudoun Valley, Park View and Tuscarora) and Region 3B (Lightridge and Independence).

The Virginia High School League State Track and Field Championships are scheduled for June 18-19.

The Class 3 and Class 4 meets will be contested at Liberty University in Lynchburg, while Todd Stadium in Newport News will host the Class 6 and Class 5 meets.
