With the start of the varsity football season for the 2020-2021 academic year delayed until February due to COVID-19, Loudoun Valley High School’s football program took time during a special practice session Oct. 8 to promote cancer awareness.

Several Loudoun Valley players and coaches donned pink clothing during the practice session. A number of Viking families are currently battling cancer, while many others have been affected in the past.

Loudoun Valley is aiming to raise donations to support Our Perfect Warrior Foundation, whose mission is to assist local families battling cancer. Our Perfect Warriors Foundation was launched last year by Woodgrove High School students Riley Castellano and Anna Lockhart.
