The Independence Tigers improved to 4-0 this season following a 35-14 road win over Washington on Sept. 17 in West Virginia.

Broad Run, Heritage, Independence, John Champe, Loudoun County, Loudoun Valley and Stone Bridge high schools each earned wins during the fourth week of the 2021 varsity football season.

In a showdown of Dulles District teams, Heritage rallied to defeat previously unbeaten Tuscarora 32-27 in Leesburg. The Pride improved to 4-0 this season.

Broad Run, Independence, Loudoun County and Stone Bridge are also undefeated, while John Champe and Loudoun Valley both evened their records at 2-2.

The Millbrook at Potomac Falls game scheduled for Friday was postponed. A make-up date is to be determined.
