Freedom, Heritage, John Champe, Lightridge and Woodgrove high schools earned victories during the seventh week of the 2021 spring varsity football season.

John Champe and Lightridge both collected their fourth wins of the season, while Woodgrove moved above the .500 mark with a seven-point win over Potomac Falls.

Freedom earned its first win and Heritage secured its second victory of the condensed season.

The Virginia High School League will release official playoff pairings Monday. Some area teams are scheduled to play regular-season games next week.
