LVHS 2017 track

The Loudoun Valley Vikings won their first of three consecutive boys' outdoor state track and field championships in 2017.

Varsity track and field teams from Loudoun Valley and Park View high schools have combined to win 11 Virginia High School League state championships.

Loudoun Valley has been dominant in recent years, claiming seven boys' titles and a girls' crown since 2015. The Vikings have won four outdoor state championships and four indoor titles during that span.

Park View won consecutive girls' outdoor state championships in 2007 and 2008, while Loudoun Valley's girls were the first local team to strike gold at the state level in 1976.
