WHS softball 2014

The Woodgrove Wolverines won their second of five overall state championships during the 2014 season.

Varsity softball teams from Woodgrove, Broad Run, Park View, Loudoun Valley, Briar Woods and Stone Bridge high schools have combined to win 16 Virginia High School League state championships.

Woodgrove leads the way with five state titles, highlighted by a run of three consecutive championships from 2016 through 2018. Broad Run also reeled off three straight titles from 2007 through 2009 on its way to four overall crowns.

Park View has hoisted three championship trophies, while Loudoun Valley has won a pair and Briar Woods and Stone Bridge have each claimed one state title.
