RRHS tennis 2017

The Rock Ridge Phoenix defeated the John Handley Judges 5-2 in the 2017 Virginia Group 4A state boys' tennis final.

Varsity tennis teams from Loudoun County, Potomac Falls, Riverside and Rock Ridge high schools have combined to win five Virginia High School League state championships.

Loudoun County has claimed a pair of state championships -- winning the girls' title in 2003 and the boys' crown in 2006.

Potomac Falls was the first Loudoun public high school to strike tennis gold. The Panthers netted the 2002 state crown on the boys' side.

Riverside (2018) and Rock Ridge (2017) are the most recent state champions, each claiming boys' tennis titles.
