Loudoun United FC opened the scoring in the first half before San Antonio FC answered with a second-half goal as the USL Championship teams played to a 1-1 draw on Sunday afternoon in Leesburg.
Zach Ryan netted his third goal of the season in the 35th minute to give Loudoun United a 1-0 lead against the reigning league champions in front of an announced crowd of 3,411 at Segra Field. Panos Armenakas assisted on Ryan's goal.
Ignacio Bailone scored the equalizer for San Antonio (1-0-1, 4 points) in the 55th minute, assisted by Jacori Hayes.
Loudoun United, who opened the season with a 3-1 win over host Memphis 901 FC on March 11, have secured four points through its first two games.
The Red-and-White -- tied for second place in the 12-team Eastern Conference -- return to action March 25 at FC Tulsa.
