For a second straight week, the Washington Football Team's rally from a double-digit halftime deficit fell short in a 20-13 home loss to the Carolina Panthers on Dec. 27 at FedExField.
Despite scoring the game's final 13 points, Washington was not able to overcome a 20-0 deficit against the Panthers. Washington (6-9) has lost two straight games following a four-game winning streak.
Washington still controls its playoff destiny heading into the final week of the regular season. Washington can claim the NFC East division title with a win Sunday at Philadelphia (4-10-1).
