Misericordia University junior quarterback Brady Williams accounted for seven touchdowns Saturday in a 47-45 win at Wilkes University. The performance earned the Potomac Falls High School alum Middle Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for a second consecutive week.
Williams passed for 339 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for three more scores in the two-point victory. A week earlier, Williams piloted a game-winning drive late in regulation to lift Misericordia to a 36-35 win over Widener.
Williams ranks fourth in the MAC in passing yards (240) and fifth in rushing yards (74) per game.
Misericordia is a NCAA Division III program in Pennsylvania. The Cougars (2-1 overall, 2-0 in the MAC) are coached by Mark Ross.
