Following a lengthy absence from competition due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Stone Bridge High School rowing team opened the 2021 season May 15 on the Occoquan Reservoir at Sandy Run Regional Park in Fairfax Station.

Stone Bridge placed in six of the eight races it competed in at the Regional Regatta. The Women's Novice 8, Women's Novice 4 and Men's Junior Varsity 4 boats each placed first in their respective races.

Stone Bridge also raced to second place in the Men's Junior Varsity 4x competition, while placing third in both the Men's Varsity 4 and Men's Junior Varsity 8 races.

Next up for Stone Bridge is the Walter Mess Regatta on May 22 at Sandy Run Regional Park.
