The Loudoun County Captains and the Stone Bridge Bulldogs both won state volleyball championships Friday, while Broad Run, Stone Bridge and Tuscarora each advanced in the regional football playoffs.

Loudoun County defeated Grafton in four sets Friday in the Virginia Class 4 volleyball final to earn its 10th consecutive state title.

Stone Bridge swept Frank Cox in the Virginia Class 5 volleyball final to earn its second state championship in program history.

Broad Run and Tuscarora prevailed in the Region 4C football semifinals, while Stone Bridge dominated Riverbend in a Class 5D semifinal game.

Stone Bridge and Broad Run will each host regional championship games next week.
